There have been incidences of increasing accidents in power plants under construction, the latest being at Chabbra unit 2. What are the probable reasons behind them and can they be avoided. Please share your views.
No proper infrastructure, no trained workmen. Only in hurry in starting the plant. Not bothered to see quality of staff. Workmen and engineers all below standard and untrained from contractors. RVUN engineers working overtime and over burden. No good food in time. No proper stay.
jens not live at motipura site. aen, xen, se, dy.c.e. only looking to go kota. always 40% staff out of chabbra on leave or without. the other that remain not enough and not trained in the work they do. mech. eng. in electrical and elect. engr. in mech.
Basic housing facility should be provided to the Jen at motipura colony and basic medical facilities ,shopping facilities ,school facilities at motipura so that living conditions are better at site .This will stop tendency to go on leave of engineers and help better running of plant
Is there dearth of experts? No, there is enough experience available in rvun but management does not know how to motivate. They are just as inefficient as any other govt. department, rearing each and everyone with same stick like herd. Give more facilities and money people will automatically become motivated and fresh quality recruits will attract toward the organisation. Otherwise you will throw peanuts and attract only monkeys.
